#395 – Upcoming talks in March – Huddersfield and Batley

A bit of early warning that I will be presenting my Mechanical Landscapes talk on the follwoing dates:

Tuesday 10th March – Batley Camera Club

Wednesday 18th March – Huddersfield Photo Imaging Club.

I have no more talks scheduled currently, but will consider all offers. My preference is within a 6o minute drive from Chorley. This is due to me being in full time employment, and I travel to venues after a full day at work, but please contact me anyway to see if we can come to an arrangement.

EDIT – I wrote and scheduled this a few weeks ago, and since then have been booked for talks at Burnley, Atherton and Pernrith for 2015 / 2016, but I am always open to approaches for talks at camera clubs and other interested organisations for 2015 and beyond.

#377 – Upcoming Talk at Bingley Camera Club 8th December 2014

The next stop on my series of talks in West Yorkshire is at 7.30 on Monday night (8th December) at Bingley Camera Club, who meet at Church House, Old Main Street, Bingley, BD16 2RH. This will be my Mechanical Landscapes talk, which is loosely based on the writings and photographs from this blog and my websites.

For the record, my next talks will be in early 2015 at Huddersfield Photo Imaging Club, and Batley Camera Club, more details to follow.

While I’m at it, might as well advertise the talk. I am available to lecture at camera clubs and other interested organisations within a 1 hour / 40 mile radius of Chorley. Currently I am asking for travel expenses only, to and from the venue. I’d be delighted to speak in my home county of Lancashire, as most of my talks seem to be in Yorkshire!

Please contact me via the comments or via one of my websites.

Upcoming talk – Hebden Bridge, Wednesday 8th October 2014

My next talk will be this Wednesday for Hebden Bridge Camera Club. It will be held in the Masonic Hall in Hangingroyd Lane (I’ve been assured that there are no funny handshakes needed), postcode HX77DD.

This will be my Mechanical Landscapes talk, and if you’ve seen my website and blog, you’ll know what to expect – mainly black and white photographs, accompanied by my often irreverent rambling diatribe. It’s not your average camera club talk, but you wouldn’t expect that from me though.

Caveat: it’s 4 or 5 months since I last delivered this talk so I may be a little rusty!
