This old railway warehouse was used as a transhipment point for coal that was loaded onto a huge conveyor that bridged the valley and delivered it to the former Hartshead Power Station. By the look of this place, it was probably built before the power station, and has lasted longer as well. The area that was sidings and railway track is now completely overgrown, yet this place stands hidden away, slowly crumbling and forgotten until some developer finally realises it’s existence and hopefully rescues it!
